As a Food Service Director or cafeteria personnel, we are so excited you enrolled your cafeteria in the Adopt A Cow Program this year! You should have received emails with your farm and calf announcements, as well as information about all the resources we’ll be sharing this year. New this year, we have developed the following program elements to be used in your cafeteria. We hope you enjoy them.

Download the following resources for your cafeteria:

  • Poster about milk’s journey from the farm to the fridge. Hang this in your cafeteria that shows students how milk gets from the farm to your cafeteria. Be sure to add a picture of your calf to personalize the poster. Click here to download.

  • Tabletop cards with dairy facts and photos. Print these on cardstock to use in your cafeteria. Simply fold them in half and set them around on the lunch tables to celebrate Adopt A Cow and your calf with your students. Click here to download.

  • A tips sheet with engaging ways you can incorporate the program in your cafeteria. Click here to download.

  • A sticker sheet of fun stickers you can place on the bottom of milk cartons. Students that buy the milk with the sticker hidden on the bottom can be awarded a small prize for choosing dairy. Use Avery 94509 to print. Click here to download.

  • Slide deck to display on your cafeteria screen. This is a Canva template. Click here to download the slides.
