Holiday Activity & Gift: Create Your Own Ear Tag Kits
Looking for a fun holiday activity and gift to celebrate your adopted calf? What if it costs less than $2.25 per student for a class of 30 students? We have just the thing for you!
These Ear Tag Kits will give you and your students time to reflect on the things you have learned about your calf already while completing a short decorating craft. Discuss things like: What did you learn about dairy cows? Why are ear tags important (hint: we tell you why in the 2-month update)? How can you take this new dairy knowledge and share it with their family and friends? A cow’s ear tag helps dairy farmers identify the cow from the rest of the herd. The tags can include numbers, birthdates, or their names!
To get a kit of ear tags for your class, complete the form below with a $30 donation ($3 per tag for 10 tags). If you have more than 10 students, you can add more tags at a discounted price.
What is in the Ear Tag Kit?
- 10 lime green ear tags. Side 1 has the Discover Dairy cow printed on it. Side 2 is blank to customize.
- 10 blank milk splash stickers to stick on the other side of the tag and draw on.
- 1 guided classroom activity plan to complete while decorating the ear tags.
- 1 surprise gift for the teacher!
Have More Than 10 Students?
- You can add more tags in sets of 5 for a discounted price. While completing the form, select the additional number of ear tag SETS. Review the Total Ear Tags number to ensure you have the desired number of ear tags before submitting your order.
- 5 additional milk splash stickers will be included with each set of ear tags.

Timeline & Delivery
- November 17: Pre-Order Form Opens
- December 3: Pre-Order Form Closes (may close earlier if we sell out)
- December 5: Ear Tag Kits are Shipped – They will arrive before holiday break!
